The project team directly involved in the proposed Carker FuturEnergy Park includes a dedicated in-house team that works with an engineering consultant, complemented by in-house specialists in areas such as grid, stakeholder management, ecology and planning.

Aoife McGovern
Project ManagerAoife joined the renewables sector in 2017 and has worked on onshore and offshore wind projects across North and South America, APAC and Europe. She is now working in her home market to support the delivery of clean energy projects in Ireland.

Shane Lowry
Community Engagement ManagerAs an experienced Community Engagement Manager, Shane feels strongly that individuals and communities should be continually kept up-to-date on a local project and have ease of access in contacting the team.

Brendan Twomey
Community Liaison OfficerBrendan enjoys working with people and brings many years of experience across different business sectors to the project in his role as Community Liaison Officer. Brendan is your local contact for the proposed Carker FuturEnergy Park project.

John Lyons
Community Liaison OfficerJohn Lyons spent 40 years in forestry and worked in Coillte since its formation leading forest engineering operations. Consulting EngineersFehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland’s largest indigenous consultancies specialising in energy and renewables, sustainable infrastructure, circular economy and environment. Established in 1990, FT employs more than 110 professionals, including planners, scientists, engineers, geotechnicians and technical support staff in Cork, Dublin and Carlow.
